We partake communion weekly at Good Shepherd. All believing Christians are welcome. It's great to have kids in worship! We love their presence and their faith. We have these helps for those who want: children's bulletins, soft toy bags, Beanie Babies, a Nursery, sermonette, a blessing for them at the communion table, people who love kids, and lots of kids. Let us know how we can be helpful. We have listening aid devices to assist people with hearing impairments. They are located in the narthex, so please ask an usher to assist you.
|
We most frequently use worship services from the Lutheran Book of Worship, the With One Voice blue book, and the Haugen maroon book. Occasionally we develop our own service or have a hymn-sing or musical.

Good Shepherd was one of fifteen ELCA congregations listed among 300 excellent Protestant congregations in this (subjective, and now dated) book, Paul Wilkes, Excellent Protestant Congregations: The Guide to Best Places and Practices, Westminster John Knox Press, 2001. New members are received twice a year. Building Use Request forms are available in the office. Monday-Friday office hours:8:00-4:30 |
