2nd Annual Family Retreat

A Retreat for Families Families with children 0-5th grade are invited to a winter overnight camp experience at Good Earth Village on February 25-26, 2017. This year’s theme is: “When It All Goes Wrong: Finding Grace in Parenting”. Parents will engage in their own faith formation through discussions and activities guided by Pastor Carl-Eric. Children will spend time with Good Earth Village counselors in bible study on similar themes. There will also be plenty of fun, games, and activities for everyone! Details & Cost The retreat is limited to 8 families on a first-come, first-serve basis, although preference will be given to first time retreaters. The retreat will run from the morning of Saturday, February 25, to 12:00pm on Sunday, February 26, 2017. Cost is $125/family, which pays for lodging, 3 meals, programming, and counselors. January VBS Day Since Rochester Public Schools are closed Friday, January 27, 2017, come join us for a VBS Blitz! School-age children (Kindergarten through 5th grade) are invited to a day filled with games art, singing, and more! Our day will go from 9:00am-3:00pm. If a later pick-up time is needed, a movie will be shown after 3:00pm, and children are welcome to stay until 5:00pm. Pizza will be served for lunch. We are asking for $10 per family to cover costs. 2016 Baby Shower for Mary: A Sunday School Intergenerational Event

The Sunday school students invite all members to an event celebrating the first Sunday of Advent on November 27, 2016, from 9:15-10:15am. We will throw a baby shower for Mary and baby Jesus. We ask attendees to donate new or gently used baby items that we will donate to the Rochester Women’s Shelter. We ask that you bring the items unwrapped, so that the kids and adults can have fun wrapping and decorating the packages before we present them to Mary.
