Thank you for providing essential leadership for Good Shepherd Church's efforts to demonstrate
God's love to our community
through Operation Inasmuch on October 2, 2010. Momentum is building. People are signing up to be involved.
Operation Inasmuch promises to be a very exciting event for our church and community.
As a Project Coordinator, there are several things we need for you to do:
- If you have not already done so, please research your project thoroughly obtaining all the permissions
and materials you will need to complete it. If you purchase materials, turn in your receipts to the
church Office for reimbursement
- Contact all of your volunteers as soon as possible to let them know they are working on your project
providing the when, where and how they need to know to be fully prepared for a satisfying day of ministry.
There should be a minimum of [Volunteers_Needed] volunteers to effectively complete your project.
You will receive a complete list of your volunteers with contact information prior to Operation Inasmuch.
- Make arrangements to have a cell phone with you if your project is away from the church campus.
The Operation Inasmuch Planning Committee should have that number before October 2, 2010.
Remember to call in the number of persons for whom we will need to provide lunch on the day of OpIn
(and include the home owner in the case of Home Repair projects).
Lunch will be provided at the church for volunteers working in projects there.
- Our insurance carrier has been notified of what we are doing with Operation Inasmuch.
In case of injury, please notify Bart Hanson (990-1234) ASAP and assist the injured volunteer
in obtaining appropriate medical attention. If you have minors working on your project,
you must obtain a signed Permission Form from their parent or guardian.
Your Operation Inasmuch Committee contact person is [OpIn_Committee_Point_Person].
If you have any questions about your project or any other matter regarding OpIn, please contact an
Operation Inasmuch Planning Committee member.
Thank you again for making it possible for Good Shepherd Church to complete this bold attempt to
demonstrate God's love and mercy in Rochester, MN.
