Project 2011	Comments
Affirmation of Public Servants	Volunteers will bake, organize and deliver goodies to public servants (e.g. Firemen, policemen, etc.)
Letters for Troops / Letters to homebound members	Letters will be written to service men and women as well as homebound members from GSC
Canned Food / Channel 1 Food Drive	Food will be collected for Channel 1 Food Bank. To serve our friends and neighbors in our community who are hungry.
Child Care	Care for the children of those volunteering and give the children an opportunity to contribute.
Faith Chests	Volunteers will build Faith Chests, which are given to those baptized at GSC.
Laundromat Blitz	An opportunity to plug a washer or dryer with quarters, providing small change and a big pick me up for fellow community members.
Lunch Crew	Make and serve the food for all of the Op In volunteers
Meals on Wheels	Deliver meals to individuals homes
Music to Assisted Living	Provide music and ministry to area assisted living homes.
Park Clean-up	Volunteers will scour the area parks and help beautify our public spaces.
Sewing	Volunteers will stuff pre-sewn animals and complete the sewing. These stuffed animals will be donated to the Pediatric department at Mayo to share with kids during their medical appointments.
Video / Pictures	Members will collect photos and images to commemorate the day of OpIn.
Home bound GSC members	Volunteers will help our fellow GSC members who can use an extra hand. Jobs will likely include Fall Clean-up, raking, trimming bushes, etc.
Winter Clothing Drive	Volunteers will coordinate, collect and deliver winter clothing to Lutheran Social Services
Knitting	Experienced knitters bring own supplies and knit, scarves, hats, mittens and prayer shawls for Lutheran Social Services
