Giving Glory to God Through Our Musical Offerings
Music is one of the hallmarks of our vibrant worship services at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Centuries ago, Gregorian Chant was considered “the voice of the church”. Since the Reformation, an additional repertoire, ranging from Spirituals to anthems, has become the voice of the church. On any given Sunday, one may hear congregational hymns accompanied by our twenty-five rank Fenris Pipe Organ, as well as music from our praise band, adult choir, children and youth choirs, concert band, brass choirs, and accomplished hand bell choirs, resonating in our sanctuary.
Beautiful music is the art of the prophets that can calm the agitations of the soul; it is one of the most magnificent and delightful presents God has given us.
