Lent 2017

Lent 2017

Wednesday Evening Lenten Worship Series On Wednesday nights at 7:00pm, we will gather for worship at the close of the day. In this quiet reflective service we will invite members of the Rochester community who are immigrants to share their stories with us. In the silence of night, we will engage in holy listening in hopes of hearing God’s promise anew. We will use the Night Song liturgy written by Pastor Carl-Eric. The nursery will be staffed by high school students from 6:00-7:30pm, making child care available to families.   Lenten Soup Supper Sign-Up A special sign-up sheet for preparing and serving Lenten Simple Soup Suppers (soup, bread, and beverages) is to be found on the Welcome desk. Be creative and form a group to make soup together, serve, and clean up for one of our 5 Lenten Wednesday evenings (6:00-7:00pm). We normally serve 50-80 people. Our entire church family thanks you!   Weekly Lenten Adult Education Series: Immigrants, Refugees & the Displaced During the adult education hour on Sunday mornings at 9:30am, we will engage in learning more about the experiences of immigrants, refugees, and the displaced.
