Sunday School Offering

Throughout the school year, our Sunday School students have been diligent about bringing forth their monetary offerings and keeping track of the total amount of donations. The money collected will be used to purchase livestock or potentially a fish farm to help sustain members of people in an underserved area of our world. At the beginning of the year, a chart was made to show them how much money would be needed to purchase certain animals. Every week, the students are shown how much money we have and what can be purchased with that money. With the end of the school year approaching, it is time to decide what animal(s) we want the money to go towards. We invite the congregation to our Sunday School opening on May 15, 2016, at 9:15am, where we will have the students use ballots to vote for which animal(s) they want their money to be used to purchase. This will be a fun activity to watch since our students have been very enthusiastic and opinionated as to what should be purchased with the...

Sunday School Volunteers

It is that time a year again! We are looking for those willing to teach Sunday School for the 2015-2016 school year! We always have a great bunch of volunteers and we are looking forward to adding some new faces to the mix. Here is what some of our teachers have to say: Not only do I teach the kids, they teach me as well…. It’s fun! I’ve enjoyed getting to know our younger members… It’s not hard! You can be creative or “follow a script”… It’s not a huge time commitment! An hour of prep time and teaching once or twice a month… It makes a difference… What could be more important? Many hands make light work… If you have questions or would like someone to show what it is like to prepare a lesson, please contact Sheryl...
