• Consider volunteering for one additional task on our Time and Talents Inventory. Read GSC's mission statement and determine how you can help carry out our mission. Get involved with a specific activity and have fellowship with current friends or make new friends. Call Vicky Mulvihill, our volunteer coordinator, to let her know how you can help. Vicky schedules volunteers for worship assistants, ushers, communion preparation, greeters.
• Communion Assistants needed for 10:30 service - help the pastor distribute wine and bread. Call the office. (September, 2008)
• Library Coordinator – The Good Shepherd library is in need of a person to keep it going strong. Call the office if you are interested in the details. Thanks to Paula Freitag for all her hard work and time in caring for our library.
• Kitchen up-keep. GSC is looking for a person to take care of our kitchen. This would include monitoring supplies and replacing worn out items. I f you would like to help out, please contact Mike in the office.
• NURSERY ATTENDANTS. We are looking for more adult nursery attendants for the early services this fall! If you are willing and able to serve at the early service, please contact Tracy Tollefson, Nursery Coordinator at 292-1546 or by email at dougandtracy@charter.net. This is a great way to get to know some of the youngest members of our church! Thank you.
• Funeral Lunch Leaders. A most appreciated ministy is the work of the funeral lunch teams. We need volunteers to keep this ministry active. On the death of a loved one, we have teams who take care of the details of food and hospitality following the service. A list of skills that you could contribute are
  • Talk to family representative or pastor to geet details
  • Order food
  • Contact volunteers
  • Pickup food or have delivered to church
  • Oversee prep / serving / cleanup at event

• The Small Group Steering Team is searching for those willing to facilitate a small group. We'll train you and help you find materials on the topic of your choice. Contact Tim Fynskov to ask questions and to tell him of your interest. - h 288-3607, w 253-0817. (September, 2008)
