Beginning June 14, youth attending the National Youth Gathering in Detroit will meet every Sunday after worship to engage in bible study and theological training leading up the event in mid-July. Using the Gospel of Mark as a backdrop, we will discuss Luther’s Theology of the Cross, the history of the city of Detroit, race issues facing Detroit and our country, and the power and possibility of resurrection amidst such problems. We encourage and invite adults to join us in this discussion, so that our learning may be increased and our experience shared. Look for lesson details in the bulletin and weekly newsletter.
